Multifunction Workbench
A simple but multifunctional workbench for both my table saw and miter saw.
I built this at a time when my workshop space wasn’t very big. I wanted to build a workbench that would support my table saw and miter saw but remain small enough to maneuver around when there is a car parked on the other side of the garage. Watch the full video (above) to see what I came up with and exactly how I built it.

Table Saw Mount Details
Mounting the table saw to the workbench was an important part of the design. I wanted the saw to mount into the workbench and sit flush so that the bench can serve as an outfeed table, but I still wanted the saw to remain portable so it could be taken elsewhere. Here’s what I did.
On each side of the saw I drilled and tapped two holes that could accept a 1/4-20 bolt.
I used these holes and some 1/4-20 bolts to bolt a block of wood onto each side.
The block of wood then sits on the rails that extend off the side of the workbench. The saw is sturdy, level with the workbench, and can be lifted out of placed when needed.
